Eduardo Rodriguez (AKA Lalo Rodriguez) is a musician from Veracruz, Mexico. He is currently living in Harlem, New York. His music studies started under the tutelage of the cuban guitarist Manuel Espinás in Puebla, Mexico and the American composer Brian Banks. After his classical music training he went to the world of improvisation putting together different projects of original music and collaborating in music festivals in Mexico.

In 2017 he took lessons with the guitarist Steve Cardenas and in January of 2018 he produced an international tour with the project "Upper Manhattan Collective" collaborating with the alto saxophonist Alfredo Colon, bassist Evan Ryan, drummer Alonso Umańa.

Later in October of that year, he moved permanently to the Big Apple and started his studies with the master drummer Michael Carvin to explore new concepts and ideas to create new sounds.

His newest quintet went to Mexico City for a residency in the well recognized venue "Jazzatlan Capital". Which became his inspiration for his upcoming album release. Eduardo is now working with Michael Carvin to produce his debut album in 2022.
